Cultura Vitae Lecture w/ Father Matt Libra

Join us as we continue our Culture Vitae Lecture event with an exclusive evening featuring Fr. Matt Libra. Father Matt will be giving a talk titled: “Building a Culture of Life with John Paul II: Środowisko”.

About the Speaker: Fr. Matt was born and raised in Oregon. He has worked with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, assisted the chaplain at the US Navy base in Naples, Italy with religious education & Masses, served as a hospital chaplain as well as chaplain for study abroad college campuses & the Missionaries of Charity. After his ordination to the diaconate in 2010, he was assigned to St. Paul Parish & School in Eugene. In 2012 he served as Parochial Vicar of St. Juan Diego Parish in Portland. Father Matt went on to complete his Licentiate at the JP II Institute of Marriage & Family Studies. He has been the Administrator of St. Rose of Lima Parish & School since 2013.

About the Lecture Series: The Cultura Vitae Lecture Series was established during Chesterton Academy’s inaugural academic year (2008) as an effort of the school to educate the greater community and to build what Saint Pope John Paul II called “the culture of life.” The series, continued today by the Chesterton Network Schools like ours, is dedicated to bringing scholars and accomplished individuals to speak on a variety of issues that directly affect the protection of the human person, the family, and the building up of the common good.
