Our Town, by Thornton Wilder, is Chesterton Academy’s first play production ever!

Winner of the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this play tells the story of the mythical American town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, through the everyday lives of its citizens.

It is the Wilder’s most frequently performed play, and fellow playwright, Edward Albee, describes Our Town as “the greatest American play ever written.” 

Our director, Christopher Leebrick, believes that in our current cultural climate, the depiction of life and normalcy in Our Town is more powerful than ever.
