Chesterton Academy Launches New Trap Shooting Team

Chesterton Academy of the Willamette Valley is excited to announce the addition of a new co-ed trap shooting team to the school.

The team held its first practice yesterday and has officially joined the USA Clay Target League. Students will spend the fall developing their skills and gaining experience before competing in league events this spring.

The season will culminate with the opportunity to compete at the state tournament in Bend in June.

The new program gives Chesterton students another opportunity to build discipline, confidence, teamwork, and good sportsmanship while representing their school in competition.

A special thank you to the parents and volunteers who have given their time and support to make this new program possible. We are grateful for their efforts and excited to see what the team accomplishes in its inaugural season!
